It sure is politically correct to be environmentally conscious and ‘Go Green’. Web hosting company Thinkhost hosting service is built all around being environmentally conscious.

Thinkhost’s site indicates they have been in business since 1999, and if so, meaning they have been somewhat ahead of the curve in reducing our carbon footprint. They claim to be run on energy created from alternative energy sources from the wind and sun. Thinkhost says they will even plant a tree for every new customer who purchases a hosting plan.

Thinkhost reliability and support is not quite known and we imagine they have standard energy sources inline as backup in case of failures.
